Ship Reviews

We absolutely loved our trip! We stayed in the MSC Yacht Club and it was amazing. The food, the service, the decor, the pool, room service, the private island, the theater, the yacht club dance party, and the spa were all amazing. We highly recommend Yacht Club. From the moment we arrived in the port, we were escorted from security to the lounge, greeted with drinks, set up with WiFi, and then taken to our suite. The butler service was unmatched- we were so blessed with Kier and Joseph. The yacht club pool area had delicious food and drinks along with cabanas and comfy pool chairs. Jayson was the man always providing us with pina coladas and kindness. Room service was quick and delicious. The private island on Ocean Cay was absolutely beautiful. We were escorted off the ship and provided transportation to the yacht club area with beach chairs and butler service. The food on the island was just as good as the ship. The Yacht Club Dining head waiter ensured that my allergy was taken care of every single meal. We also went shopping and to many other bars on the ship. We also got massages that were wonderful. I cannot recommend this experience more.

I just did my first MSC cruise. It was 3 nights from Mia with stops in Nassau and Ocean Cay. The ship was clean and the food in MDR was adequate. Never did dining. I was busy exploring the port cities or doing a dance class and was too tired to fight a line just to dine. The deserts weren't too sweet; I felt they were good enough to satisfy. I had free soft service on two days when I returned to the ship from the port stops. It was bloody hot and the ice cream helped cool me down. There is a cost for Gelato. If you're not in the Yacht Club tier, the toiletries are bare. The bathroom has shampoo and shampoo gel; No soap bar and no wash rag. You get bath and face towels. The "welcome" literature threatens to charge $30 if you lose the pool towel. The TV offerings are scanty. There are 30 free channels and half or so are the same ship info in a different language. There's TCM and CNN for free. If you would like a movie, it's $10.00 (Direct TV). If you're undecided, do some research since people share a lot. Do not be afraid to give it a try... and calibrate your expectations.

An excellent experience, especially at the Green Restaurant with Jervis, a waiter from the Philippines, who gave us a 10. Everything was very nice, and the service was excellent throughout, with excellent organization, both for boarding and disembarking. The food was very good, with plenty of entertainment for children and adults. The island visit was very good, with good organization for the lunch buffet and overall service on the beach as well. Everyone was very cordial and good-natured, despite their tireless workload. The only thing I noticed was that compared to other cruises, the entertainment was poorer, but it wasn't bad. We are satisfied with the days we spent on the cruise, which of course makes us want to visit the cruise ship again.Everything was very well organized and planned, the food was very good and the service in the rooms was very good, clean and organized. In short, an excellent vacation
